                              RESOLUTION NO. 21393
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. 99C, CONSTRUCTION OF MISCELLANEOUS SANITARY
                 SEWERS (REQUIREMENTS CONTRACT), TO MAYSE
                 CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THEIR BID IN THE
                 AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
                 ($600,000.00), AND TO EAST TENNESSEE GRADING,
                 INC. FOR THEIR BID IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR
                 HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($400,000.00), FOR A
                 TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION
                 DOLLARS ($1,000,000.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. 99C, Construction of Miscellaneous Sanitary 

       Sewers (Requirements Contract), to Mayse Construction Company for 

       their bid in the amount of $600,000.00, and to East Tennessee
       Grading, Inc. for their bid in the amount of $400,000.00, for a
       total contract amount not to exceed $1,000,000.00.
